I’ve been doing hair full-time since I graduated from Paul Mitchell the School Columbia in 2013, but I started doing hair for weddings in 2012 as a student and fell in love with it. There’s something magical about helping a bride or bridesmaid get ready for the big day. I enjoyed planning and DIY-ing my own wedding in 2015, and now, I live to hear about all the details that the brides and bridesmaids share with me while I’m doing their hair.
Because doing hair for weddings holds such a special place in my heart, I wanted to create a business centered around wedding parties. So, in April of 2017, Pretty and Pinned was born. Since then, we've had the honor of being there for over 140 brides and their ladies on their wedding day, and leading up to it.
I am a caffeine addict, only able to start the day once a big mug of coffee is in my hand. When I'm not elbow-deep in hair color, I can be found covered in kitties, debating whether it’s early enough to start putting up Halloween decorations (spoiler: it’s never too early) or watching Netflix with my handsome hubs.
